Fletching is a simple skill Current methods: Making arrowshafts by using a Knife on logs (the high level logs the more shafts per log) to craft arrow shafts then by using feathers is currently the fastest way to train To obtain a knife go to the general store or as an Ironman you can use the Ironman shop Feathers can be bought at the cooking shop at home or by purchasing at the skillers cove fishing shop, if you're an Ironman go to Aviansies with a ranged or magic attack. They can drop up to 2.2k at a time Arrowshafts can be made by any logs and the rates are as follows: Logs = 15 oak logs = 30 willow = 45 maple = 60 yew = 75 magic = 90 other methods of fletching are plausible but none are as rewarding.

Varrock Username: Mdry / M3 Age: 22 Timezone: +2 CET Where are you from? Belgium How long have you been part of the Varrock Community? About a week or 2 before launch How many hours do you spend online daily? Depends, but average around 2-3 hours Are you active in-game, discord, and our forums? Yes Why would you like to be part of the Varrock Staff Team? Because i think i can be of good use on the server and i enjoy the server and community ofcourse What are some of the strengths you possess? I strive to be as correct as possible, rules are rules i am someone who follows the rules, i am also extremely respectfull to other players. i'm truthfull i always tell how things are ( unless told otherwise ) What are some of your weaknesses you posses? I'm not always optimistic about some things, Also i have a (dark) humor, it has happend before that people misunderstood my humor but after quickly mentioning thats its just how i am people will understand Please describe any experience in leadership or staff roles you currently have or had: I have been a server support before with hopes of promoting. None gaming related i am currently a teamleader at my job which requires me to be strict and on point with everything ( 5 years of construction and 3 as teamleader, going back to school this year. ) Have you ever disagreed with a staff's (ingame moderating) action? If so, what would you have done as a Server Support in that situation?: As i mentioned above: rules are rules. When we disagree i will first off all know me place which means if i'm disagreeing with a mod i will suck it up and go to an admin about the problem. If it has nothing to do with the active rules i will always try to explain why i think i am right, however i will respect the others opinion and if they turn out right i have no problem admitting that i was wrong. A friend of yours comes to you complaining that he has been banned by another staff member, and wants you to find out why. Upon further investigation, you discover that you believe the ban is unjustified. How do you handle that? Once again as mentioned above: rules are rules no matter what. If there are a few users began saying "THIS CLIENT SUCKS!" and spamming it, what would you do? I consider this as harassment towards the server and its players, I believe in second changes so a warning should be on its place, however out of experience if there are people hating on the server i know this wont be a 1 time thing. I will do research if he has any more offences and according to the rules will punish with the correct punishment, if however he does stop after a warning all will be fine. Why should we choose to promote you as opposed to someone else's application? I am strict when it comes to having a responsible role. People are to follow the rules, 1 warning ( unless told to give more by higher autority. MUTUAL respect is my highest priority. What are some of the recognizable ways in which you helped the community? As the server being as new as it is there haven't been any outstanding actions besides the "drop party" where some guy dropped all kinds of donator scrolls and i just helped cleaning it up. In a short paragraph, please briefly explain what you hope to bring to Varrock with this position and what you hope to achieve in the future: I'm hoping to bring alot of structure to the community and keeping it as fun as possible. After talking to me for a few minutes you'll realise i'm a really fun person to play around with but when needed also a very mature player. I'm hoping to help players but also punish those who don't follow the rules. Do you understand that if you break any rules, abuse power, fail to follow the Staff handbook, or turn out to be a horrendous Staff Member, you will be demoted and might have further actions taken against you depending on your offenses? I hope you've seen that i like rules, so yes ofcourse.

Hey everyone ! Welcome to my Normal Mode Mining guide ! Hope this becomes a reference for the future and helps out players training Mining. Tools Needed To train Mining, you need a pickaxe. You can either pick up the bronze pickaxe beside the mining spot at home or you can purchase one at home in the north building, in the west wing. Trade the Shop Assistant. To get there, open your magic spellbook, select "Skilling teleport" and select the first option on the right side. You'll find 3 Gem Rocks and a bank (deposit box) nearby. You can obtain uncut Jade, Opal, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby and Diamond from them, which are excellent for crafting. My Preferences On my way to 99 Mining, I experienced different way to train up. Although, the best efficient way to train it imo is with Gem Rocks. 1-15 ---> Tin/Copper 15-40 Iron ores 40-99 Gem Rocks Try to end up with the same amount of Tin and Copper ores in order to be able to make bronze bars without having leftover ores. Mining Iron Ores from 15 to 40 allows you to rack up some iron ores used for Smithing later on. Iron ores are also very quick to mine and respawn fast aswell. Mining Gems from 40 and up allows you to rack up a lot of gems. Those will play a huge role in your road to 99 crafting. Mining Cape Perk Once you have achieved 99 Mining, go get your Mining Cape from the Wise Old Man at Home. When worn, that cape will earn you 2x ores per successful mining action. Works from tin and clay all the way to Runite ores. HUGE THANKS to DanyMcDuff for the calculations of the Prospector Set % Bonuses. I Hope it answers your question and help you achieve your mining goals ! Feel free to PM me ingame if you have any questions. Leave a comment if you think I forgot something or put wrong information.

Heya, thanks for reading my guide. Good luck on your farming grind, hopefully you'll receive a Tangerloot pet in the progress.. 1. Obtaining farming tools & Seeds. Teleport to the Falador Skilling Zone, via the skills teleport. There you'll find a Master Farmer, trade the Farmer to buy your farming tools. Continue your farming grind by buying seeds from other players, or obtaining seeds through pvming or pickpocketing the master farmer. 2. Inventory Setup. You're pretty much free to choose how you setup your inventory, but I kinda like a certain setup. The setup I use is efficient in my eyes and works the best for me. Feel free to use a setup to your own liking. 3. Compost bin & Farming actions. First you have to clean the patches by clicking on the patch. You'll start raking the patches, receiving weeds whilst doing so. Next, use the weeds on the 'Compost bin', to create compost. Right click on the compost bin again to empty, with 1/4 bucket(s) in your inventory. This will fill your empty buckets with Compost, which is needed to 'feed' your patches. Next, you'll use the compost on the patches. This then enables you to plant the seeds and water them. 4. Timers & Bonus. Growth timers are quite fast on Varrock. Timers vary from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on the seed's tier. The farmers outfit gives you exp bonus, just like the Rogue's set gives you exp bones whilst thieving. Overtime, you'll complete the achievements and receive outfit pieces of the Farmers Outfit. Farming Task I Farming Task II Farming Task III Pick Herbs 100 Times Pick Herbs 300 Times Pick Herbs 600 Times

Hey everyone ! Welcome to my Firemaking Guide ! It's pretty straight forward and easy but I still hope you find it useful ! Here it goes ! Requirements To train this skill, you first need to get a Tinderbox. Trade the Shop Assistant at home to purchase one ! You'll need to use the tinderbox on any log to light it up depending on your Firemaking level. Logs / Level / Experience (Double xp weekend) Regular Log ---> Level 1 ---> 2,000 xp (4,000) Oak Log ---> Level 15 ---> 3,000 xp (6,000) Willow Log ---> Level 30 ---> 5,250 xp (10,500) Maple Log ---> Level 45 ---> 6,750 xp (13,500) Yew Log ---> Level 60 ---> 10,150 xp (20,300) Magic Log ---> Level 75 ---> 15,200 xp (30,400) Redwood Log ---> Level 90 ---> 17,500 xp (35,000) Places to Firemake When you light a log, you always move to the west by 1 tile. Therefore a good spot to train Firemaking would be at Varrock Square. You get a whole inventory of logs with 1 tinderbox, you light the logs all the way to the west bank, take more logs off your bank and teleport/run back to the fountain. Repeat the process to get massive Firemaking gains ! You can also try out the Woodcutting Guild. When burning Magic logs, I notice there's a small place south of the Magic trees that allowed me to light easily 15 logs over 2 lines, if not more. Small Tips When I train Firemaking, I use 2 tinderboxes in my inventory placed like so This allows me to reduce the gap between the tinderbox and the logs. It makes it easier to click when you get to the last few logs of your inventory. Firemaking Cape Congratulations ! You have made it to level 99 Firemaking ! I'm not sure if it's coded like OSRS, but if it is, this skillcape acts as a permanent light source when worn. Pretty useful to save 1 inventory spot instead of a lantern or a candle when entering dark places. That's it folks ! Hope it was useful as usual, even though this skill is very basic to train. Leave a comment if you have questions or would like to suggest another place to train ! I'll try to edit it as informations come through Happy training !
